read his story:
I have owned my 73 Buick Riviera ever since 1986. I bought this car from an old couple that worked at Lockheed in Sunnyvale Calif. and bought it through Lockheed credit union. We had our first child on the way and we needed a bigger car. I saw this Buick park by some rail road tracks with a for sale singe in it. I looked at call about and bought it that same day. It drove very well and ran very well but had a few little problems. I do all my own work and so I fixed it up and drove it for about 3 years. Over that 3 year period I would go to wrecking yards and buy all the mounts that hold just about anything and I would have them chromed. In 1989 I decided to go through the car and do everything to it paint engine transmission the inside.

This car is clean enough to eat off of inside and out. I have gone through this car from the front bumper to the back bumper. After rebuilding the engine in 1990 I had been chroming every mount, bracket, pulley and much, much more. I also have replaced all the hoses with braided stainless steal hoses. Everything works on the car but for the clock. There are many things inside the driving compartment that have been chromed along with a few things in the trunk. After rebuilding the engine or should I say car I just don't drive it much. It's not like I don't like driving it, it's just hard to get parts for if you get hit. After all the 73 is the odd ball of the three years. I had a set of Zenith wire wheels made for it a number of years ago I even had a spare made for the trunk. I had them make a 60 series size wheel for the car as the stock wheels never looked wide enough for the size of the car.

These pictures were taken in the summer of 2002. The car is kept inside always and doesn't ever see wet roads. I have no idea what the car is worth I just keep it up and take the car out a few times a month as long as it isn't raining. People always check this car out and when I open the hood people just stop cold and look. I have given this car a very good home and don't know if someone else would care for it as I have. I have built many things over the years this is just one of many of them. I hope to keep this car in the family every one know the time and money I have put into it.

Note: Tim promised more pics from this car, interiour and engine pics.
We look forward to those!
