My name is Toby van Toor, I live in The Netherlands in the place Gendringen.
I have a wide intrest of American Cars. The General Lee and a 1969 Cadillac Coupé de Ville Conv.
But on the meetings I saw the Boattails and my interest of this car grows up. The rear end is great !
My first American Car was a 1970 Cadillac Sedan De Ville.
Now I am the owner of this yellow 1972 Buick Riviera Boattail.
I bought this car in February 2006 and is was in great condition. Only the airco didn't work and the battery was dead.
And I have some little things renewed on the car. The gearbox and the engine block are original.
In the future I will complete restoration of the gearbox and engine block. Including a new muffler. This is not cheap.
The car is original. No cd-player and amplifier.
Only in the summer (when the weather is sunny) I cruise on the Dutch roads. I like the reactions of the people and the thumbs up !
No racing , just cruising ! On the highways and small roads of the "Achterhoek" (this is the neighbourhood
where I live in The Netherlands).
In September 2008, I have my first wedding-cruise. Then my brother will be getting married and asked me to drive his wedding-car.
