This roadtest was issued in november 1970.
As you can read the on this GS installed max-trac option was tested over and over again and yes, it was a surpising new item. A large car with this much power could easely make the wheels spin and since most drivers didn't want that to happen, Max-trac was a safety-option so to speak.
Further, the accu-drive (a special geometry in the front suspension) + the newly developed tires where thoroughly tested and the results were very positive. '.. the 71 Riviera is now a handling jewel...' Anyway, just print these pages and read it yourself!
